Atlantic Millwork & Cabinetry Celebrates 25 Years

Atlantic Millwork CabinetryOwners Mark Woodruff and Richard Reed are celebrating 25 years of business at Atlantic Millwork & Cabinetry in Lewes, Del. The partners founded the business in 1991, after leaving jobs as salesmen.

“We truly had a grassroots beginning. Our office was my living room, and our delivery trucks were an old minivan and a beat-up Bronco,” Reed told the Cape Gazette. “We worked 8 a.m. to 11 p.m. Monday through Friday without pay for the first three months.”

A quarter century later, the company now employs a staff of 20 and has grown to one of the areas leading building suppliers, specializing in windows, doors, cabinetry, decking, millwork and more.
