Parksite Expands Diamond Kote Pre-Finish Offering

January 19, 2017 LBM Journal

Batavia, Ill. — Effective immediately Parksite, Inc. is expanding its distribution of Wausau Siding Systems’ Diamond Kote in the territories served by its Ohio and Baltimore facilities.   Together, Diamond Kote and Wausau Siding Systems are said to provide a complete pre-finished siding system delivering lasting durability for exterior siding and backed by a 30-Year No Fade Warranty. The Wausau Siding Systems offers a wide range of products that are exclusively built on: LP SmartSide, an engineered wood siding treated with a SmartGaurd process to withstand extreme temperatures, high humidity, freeze/thaws, fungal decay and termites.

“In April, 2016, we partnered with Wausau in our Connecticut, New Jersey and New York territories. Market response has been phenomenal and demand continues to grow exponentially for LP SmartSide as a premium alternative to fiber cement; our only obstacle has been a reliable pre-finished option. Diamond Kote meets these needs and far exceeds industry-leading warranty and color options.  Their state-of-the-art pre-finishing facility, including equipment specifically designed to integrate with their proprietary finish, combined with 30 colors in their palette, provides Parksite a best-in-class offering for our customers,” said Dan Olson, Parksite Category Manager.

“This territory growth is directly aligned with our growth plans,” said Bob Higgins, Vice President of Sales for Parksite. “We pride ourselves on being the premier partner to leading suppliers in the building industry. Partnering with Wausau Supply Company enables us to build on our portfolio of products and offer our customers the highest quality and innovative products in the industry.”
