Patrick Lumber Acquires Parts of Mary’s River Lumber

February 20, 2017 LBM Journal

Portland’s Patrick Lumber has acquired 8 acres of Mary’s River Lumber, including five dry kilns and the remanufacturing plant in the Philomath, Ore. area, the Philomath Express reports. The move is said to bring at least 12 jobs to the area, with hopes of adding more.

McCool Millworks Inc., based in Sweet Home, Ore. will head operations, Patrick Lumber announced on its Facebook page. The Philomath operation will start out processing primarily high grade Douglas fir and Hemlock lumber, the post says.

Established in 1915, Patrick Lumber’s website says it is “a secondary manufacturer and exporter of niche high-grade softwood products sold to a network of worldwide distribution.”
