Beacon Roofing Supply Acquires Acme Building Materials

Beacon Roofing SupplyHERNDON, Va.—Beacon Roofing Supply, Inc., has acquired Acme Building Materials, Inc., a distributor of residential roofing and related building products with three branches in Eastern Michigan. Acme is a third generation, family owned business with branches in Flint, Rochester Hills and Brighton. The addition of Acme brings the number of Beacon locations in Michigan to ten.

Acme’s President and co-owner Lori Tesner, who will remain with the Company, stated: “I am delighted to be joining forces with Beacon, which continues to build a strong presence in Michigan through its acquisition of family owned businesses, like Acme. We selected Beacon because its size and reputation will enable Acme to provide better service and a broader offering of products to our customers.
