New Manager at Century Lumber’s Ainsworth Store

Century Lumber in Ainsworth, Neb. has a new manager. Jason Nelson has been promoted to manager of the store. Nelson has been with Century Lumber Center for 16 years.

“My goal is to keep building and improving on our relationships and to try to be of service to the community,” Nelson told the Ainsworth Star-Journal. 

Century Lumber has seven locations in Nebraska.

According to the company’s website, Century Lumber was first known as Chicago Lumber Company of Omaha, and was founded in 1876 by M.T. Green, owner of Chicago Lumber Company of Chicago. On the 100th anniversary of Chicago Lumber Company of Omaha, the retail stores were renamed Century Lumber Centers.
