Guardian Building ProductsGreenville, S.C. — Guardian Building Products (GBP) has announced the move of its Waterville, Maine distribution facility. The new and larger branch location has a 200+ mile service radius and will continue to serve customers west to Kingfield, Maine.; east to Calais, Maine.; south to Jaffery, N.H.; and north to Fort Kent, Maine. The official opening is scheduled for July 17.

At 50,000 square feet, the new location has nearly double the inside storage capacity of the former facility. An added fence will give the branch nearly two acres of outdoor storage. Interior building improvements have also been made with a new racking system, and all new fixtures and furnishings.

GBP has also added an inside sales representative to ensure superb customer service throughout the moving process and will remain onsite going forward.

The move will be great for our customers,” said Branch Manager Bruce Arnold. “Upgrading our facility will only help our ability to serve them more efficiently. We are excited to be adding additional product lines to our warehouse, and increasing our capacity to serve. Plus, we are located at the brand new Trafton Road Interchange on I-95 which makes it very accessible.”
